Since 1993 we have been operating The Thailand Balloon Tour ( private meeting ) in the winter months of November and January. These private meeting are designed for foreign pilots who bring their balloons here to enjoy the exceptional flying conditions that Thailand offers. Most importantly they have come to have a lot of fun, as there is no commercial aspect to the private meeting .

Many of the participating pilots require additional passengers to help them with the costs of bringing their balloons as well as the flying costs. We invite you to join us on these exceptional balloon tour. There are none like them anywhere in the World. All the pilots are licensed and many are used to flying passengers in their own country. Indeed this is often how they pay for themselves to come on Tour with us.

The North of Thailand offers spectacular flying conditions for balloons. The early mornings which are calm and cool provide perfect conditions for a safe flight in a hot air balloon. The scenery as you can well imagine is spectacular and of course rural Thailand offers so many experiences that even a resident Thai would never find in the normal course of life.

We expect to fly every mornings during the 14 days of the tour, leaving our hotel just before dawn and returning after a flight which may last up to 2 hours, for a late breakfast. After a rest we then set out for the second half of the day, visiting one or two of the many attractions that are to be found in rural Thailand or stopping at a special restaurant that we have found. Balloon pilots have a high requirement for entertainment after their flying
